So here we are, already through the first month of training. It was great to get right back into things with the testing camp at the beginning of May, which despite being tough, was a really good time and a big success. In the past few weeks, I had fun doing a little track season which involved running the 3000m at a few school meets. Had a few intense workouts with my buddies on the local running team (go
Huskies!) which left my legs feeling destroyed. Also, I managed to get a new personal best which was my main goal.

This time of year brings a lot of excitement with the good weather and all the plans being made for camps and training in the summer. Not to mention that the school year is almost over (almost there!). I'll be going to a few camps this summer which I am very psyched for. Things have been going well and I'm quite pleased with the fact I won't have any races in the next while, leaving me to just focus on the workouts, making this a period in the season that I really quite enjoy. Currently, my focus is on doing the right training and doing it well, and wrapping up the school year so that I can concentrate on enjoying the summer and preparing for next year. Next up, the SOD summer camp!
